Recruitment

RECRUITMENT CURRENTLY OPEN

Who Can Join?

As mentioned in our vision, Circle of Freedom strives above all to be a secure, friendly environment for mature players to maximize their enjoyment of World of Warcraft.

To that effect, we do have an age requirement of a minimum of 18 years old. We recognize however that chronological age is not always indicative of someone’s level of maturity. In essence, we welcome members who will interact with others as adults, like to have fun and will not bring drama into the guild.

CoF is the home of people who like to explore many styles of play. We have members who are leveling their first toon, some who enjoy pvp, others who are serious about raiding. Whichever way you choose to experience WoW, CoF tries to foster a sense of cooperation and a spirit of generosity.

Rules and Policies

A working familiarity with the following items is fundamental to being promoted to member.

  • Raiding Policies - Although CoF does not consider itself to be a “hard core” raiding guild, we are have adopted a serious approach to raiding. If you plan on raiding with us, please make yourself familiar with our raiding policies, requirements, and procedures.
  • 5 Person Dungeon Looting Guidelines - Members must be familiar with our looting guidelines. If you are ever in doubt, please feel free to ask.

Voice Chat

WoW has provided an in-game voice chat which some members use. CoF also has a Ventrilo server which is the “official” software for voice chat, and Ventrilo is required to attend guild functions that use voice such as meetings and raids.

Forums

Even though we do not require CoF members to use the forums, we do recommend that our members read them on a regular basis. Of course, initiates who neglect the forums are missing a huge opportunity to stand out to the officers. All CoF announcements will be posted there as well as raid, instance and event sign ups. You will also find them a great source of information and the perfect place to discuss strategies or ask questions.
